I’m very excited to be back here writing the newsletter to tell you what has been happening here at Tribulant Software over the past month.

It’s been a crazy busy month with loads of support, endless development and ideas that just kept on brewing one after the other. It’s not a complaint, in fact it feels good to look back on a busy month and know that you’ve worked hard and achieved the goals that you have set.

Over the past two months, our affiliate program for our premium WordPress plugins has been doing quite well and we were very excited to see a number of users fully committing to it and putting banners on their sites to advertise our products in return for a cut in commission.

We want more users to get involved though so we have raised the affiliate commission from 10% to 15% for directly referred sales and then we also raised the 2nd level commission from 5% to 10%. The 2nd level commission is the commission that you earn when you referred someone to become an affiliate of us and they refer a direct sale. You indirectly get a 10% commission of the retail value.

So head over to our affiliate program where you can sign up and start promoting our WordPress plugins. In your affiliate panel you’ll find links and banners to use for advertising.

As many of you know this month saw the release of WordPress 3.0. In addition we at Tribulant also managed to get out a major release with Newsletters 3.8 besides the heightened excitement over the FIFA World Cup, life has progress as normal for us at Tribulant.

Other news includes the updating of documentation for each product. While not yet complete this month, We will hopefully complete it during July. New sections are being posted as soon as the update team has finished with a particular section.

As you know, all WordPress plugins purchased on Tribulant Software comes with a 90 days FREE updates subscription which gives you access to your plugin download for 90 days, including all new versions released within that period. After the 90 days, your download will expire and you’ll have to renew. You can read our updates/subscription policy for more information.

When you go to the downloads section and your download has expired after 90 days, you’ll notice a ‘Renew Updates’ link to the right of your download. This link usually took you directly to the 2CheckOut payment gateway to pay your update fee and have your download renewed for another 90 days.

We now implemented renewal periods so that you can choose the period to renew your download for. You can renew your download for 3, 6, 12 or 24 months at a time. Renewing for a longer period will save you time and effort not having to renew your download very often and since we are doing frequent releases, you’ll surely find this helpful.

Renewing a single license product download for 24 months (2 years) will only cost US$40 which is an amazing deal! Not only does an active updates subscription give you access to all new releases but it also gives you the right to technical support whenever you need it.
