We are proud to announce the release of the WordPress WHOIS plugin version 1.3.7. There are a number of additions, improvements and changes.

The plugin allows you to insert a tag into any WordPress post or page to generate a WHOIS search form for your users to get information on domain names with different TLDs.

We developed v1.2 of the WordPress WHOIS search plugin and released it to the public earlier on this week. Please feel free to view the WordPress WHOIS v1.2 release notes for a list of changes and additions which have been made to the plugin since the previous release (v1.1.5).

The WordPress WHOIS plugin was built by myself with the inspiration offered by Berrie Pelser from BerArt Visual Design. The plugin is a free package which allows you to place a domain search form on your WordPress website so that your users can see whether or not a domain is available or possibly obtain contact and other information about the domain. I consider it to be the perfect plugin for a vast range of websites focusing on technical and technology related topics. Take a hosting or web development service provider as a good example.
