As the end of each month approached I began wondering what to put in the upcoming newsletter. I know that the newsletter has for the most part been based on Tribulant and our products, with news about what’s coming up, where we have tried to improve and so on. Geeky stuff, and probably a bit boring to many of you.

Over the next few months I will play around with the contents and hope to engage you, our dear reader, in a more interesting newsletter and perhaps encourage you to write in with ideas, tips, tricks and maybe just something interesting that you would like included in the next newsletter from your personal point of view. Yes, we mostly sell commercial products but it doesn’t mean that we don’t want to build a community and relationships with our customers. We do!

January flew by very quickly and I can’t believe its time for another newsletter. I hope that you have recovered from the December festivities and that you are all back blogging or running your websites with plenty of new ideas.

October seems to have rushed by and for those of you who have been reading the blogs you will know that we have been extremely busy. Finally we managed to release version 1.3 of the WordPress Shopping Cart plugin which is now compatible with WordPress 2.8.5.

Unfortunately there was a bug in v3.6.7 of the WordPress mailing list plugin which was released 4 days ago. A fatal was caused upon sending a newsletter which prevented the history record from saving as intended to. I have uploaded a fixed version to the Tribulant site and its version number is v3.6.7.2. It is just an addition to v3.6.7 with a fix for this problem.

The WordPress Mailing List plugin just got a new product icon for both identification and presentational purposes. The icon is a clean, fresh and vivid representation of email, newsletters, mailing, writing, inbox, etc.

The icon will be available in the next release of the plugin. It will be used on the blank layout for unsubscribe confirmations, subscription management (for subscribers/users) and other areas where it is needed.

Click the icon/image to the top-left of this post to see a preview of the new icon for the mailing list plugin on the unsubscribe confirmation page which your subscribers/users see just before they are about to unsubscribe from a mailing list.

In the same way as our newsletter plugin for WordPress, each of the other products respectively will get a new product icon as well. These icons will be used on our site (product pages, software boxes, etc.) and within the software itself where it could serve a good purpose.
