I’m very excited to be back here writing the newsletter to tell you what has been happening here at Tribulant Software over the past month. It’s been a crazy busy month with loads of support, endless development and ideas that just kept on brewing one after the other. It’s not a complaint, in fact it feels good to look back on a busy month and know that you’ve worked hard and achieved the goals that you have set. Lets run through some of the highlights of the month of July ’10.

As many of you know this month saw the release of WordPress 3.0. In addition we at Tribulant also managed to get out a major release with Newsletters 3.8 besides the heightened excitement over the FIFA World Cup, life has progress as normal for us at Tribulant. Other news includes the updating of documentation for each product. While not yet complete this month, We will hopefully complete it during July. New sections are being posted as soon as the update team has finished with a particular section.

PLEASE READ THIS. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING A FIX TO LAST WEEKS RELEASE. As many of you may know we have been working on releasing premade themes for the Newsletter. This functionality was added to version 3.7.8 which was released last week. For clients who purchased version 3.7.8 or did a clean install will notice that the premade themes which we announced were not added to the Newsletters > Themes section as expected. May month is here and it is time for our monthly newsletter in which we report to you what happened in the past month at Tribulant Software. There has been a lot going on at Tribulant, which gives me some exciting stuff to report back on this month. I always think to myself just as I finish one newsletter what will I be writing about next month that will be of interest to our readers.

So begins yet another new month and as usual I am rushing to finish the newsletter. We had a number of positive comments on last month’s newsletter and the change in format was appreciated by the readers. No negative comments were received (none that I am aware of) so hopefully it means that we are on the right track.

This update of the WordPress mailing list plugin has been specifically developed to integrate with WordPress 2.8 which was released publicly several days ago. Even though the mailing list plugin has been updated for WordPress 2.8 it will still work flawlessly on WordPress 2.7.X.
