WHOIS plugin v1.4.2.4

This release of the WordPress WHOIS plugin has several fixes and improvements to enhance the experience with the plugin overall. You can view the release notes of v1.4.2.3 and v1.4.2.4 before continuing to read this post.

We are disappointed to say that with this release, there will no longer be a free version of the WordPress WHOIS plugin in the WordPress.org plugins directory.

We used to have a free version in the WordPress.org plugins directory with a sponsorship link below the WHOIS search form (which was not in the paid version) but due to guidelines of WordPress.org we had to decide whether to take it down or remove the link. Instead we’ll be selling this plugin commercially only from now on and make it much, much better!
